Preconstruction
Pre-construction services as defined at NEB and in the industry are used in planning a construction project before the actual construction begins. These services are often referred to as preconstruction or precon. It is a modern practice, considered to be part of construction project management, which is the overall planning, coordination, and control of a project from inception to completion aimed at meeting a client’s requirements in order to produce a functionally and financially viable project. We pride ourselves on laying the framework and foundation of each project and which our clients can testify to.
Construction Management
We play a critical role in procuring, managing and supervising projects performed by third-party general contractors. We assist our client with project planning and programming, scope reviews and independent cost estimating verification. During the construction phase of these projects, we assist with the selection of the general contractor and contract negotiations and skill trades. Upon commencement of field operations, we supervise the construction efforts, manage the technical consultants, and assist with quality control, cost control, and schedule performance.

As an “at-risk” general contractor responsible for project supervision of subcontractors, financial management, purchasing and scheduling of all materials and trades, contract negotiation, and contract management. At NEB this is one of the most natural extensions of the synergistic relationship and partnership engaged from the inception of any and all projects right from the design phase.
