Job Title: Senior Director of Real Estate Investment
• Full-time, offered wage: $176,571.00 annually
• Work Location: 4920 3rd Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11220
• Job Duties:
• Maintain active involvement with assigned investments, attending annual or board
meetings, reviewing quarterly financial statements, and analyzing and understanding
any significant valuation changes or policy changes.
• Lead comprehensive due diligence processes for potential new construction
investment projects, including assessing and analyzing investment strategy,
investment risks, portfolio valuations, site evaluations, feasibility studies, contractor
vetting, and thorough analysis of project costs and timelines.
• Prepare project investment recommendations based on thorough due diligence
findings, articulating rationale, cost analysis, timelines, and potential risks.
• Take a lead role in investment negotiations and closing, ensuring adherence to
financial regulations and policies, industry best practices, and favorable terms.
• Prepare and maintain standardized project investment reports in the portfolio,
providing comprehensive updates on progress, budget analysis, schedule tracking,
risk mitigation strategies, and actionable recommendations for decision-making.
• Conduct in-depth research and identify and analyze on real estate development trends,
market opportunities, competitor activity, construction material and labor costs, and
emerging technologies to inform strategic planning.
• Conduct research and analysis within the due diligence process to identify, evaluate,
negotiate, and monitor the performance of the asset class.
• Lead the legal review and ensure all aspects of closing investments are being met
from a relationship and business point of view.
• Requirements:
- At least a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or any equivalent field, plus at least 36
months of work experience in the same Financial and Investment Analyst occupation or a
related occupation such as Business Analyst or Operation Research Analyst. A Bachelor’s
degree in Finance, Economics, or any equivalent field, plus at least 60 months of work
experience in the same Financial and Investment Analyst occupation or a related
occupation such as Business Analyst or Operation Research Analyst is also acceptable.
